Dear Students, Faculty and Staff of ECPI University,   What a great week in collegiate esports with back-to-back wins for our LoL team (see below) and of course, the BIG NEWS of the week;   OPEN TRYOUTS That’s right! Open tryouts are currently under way, but it’s not too late. If you are an ACTIVE ECPI University student at ANY campus location (including online), and if you play competitive esports and want to try out for the ECPI RAMS, please visit our website at www.ecpi.edu/esports/tryouts/ and claim your spot today.   We are looking for players in almost every game, at every skill level, so don’t be shy.   SPRING COMPETITION   League of Legends – The ECPI Rams came out of the gate strong against the Roger Williams University Hawks. It was another very decisive victory of TWO rounds to ZERO against the Hawks, meaning that the RAMS LoL team start their season strong with a 2-0 record. This week, the RAMS take on the #1 Seed in the ECAC Conference, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Engineers. This match will absolutely test the RAMS ability to work as a team, as the Engineer’s have an average rank MUCH higher than the RAMS. Come out and cheer them on this Saturday at 3:00PM (EST).   Call of Duty – The ECPI Rams are working on something special for the COD team this spring! Stay tuned in this newsletter for more details soon!
