Fall Esports Season Into Full Swing

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff of ECPI University,

Last week the Rams League of Legends Fall season wrapped up, while the Rocket League and Call of Duty team’s season just reached the halfway point. Not to worry if you are a LoL fan, the spring season kicks off again shortly, right after the winter break. So Summoners Rift will be visited again soon by the ECPI Rams!

ONGOING TRYOUTS – ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!

Did you know that the ECPI Rams have open tryouts for all ECPI University students to participate in the esports program? No matter what campus you attend, even online! So, if you’re a competitive esports player and want to try out for the ECPI RAMS, visit www.ecpi.edu/esports/tryouts today and fill out the tryout form!
Last Week’s Results

Rocket League – Last week the ECPI Rams suffered a disappointing loss against Kennesaw State University. The games were neck and neck with every game having a one-goal differential, but in the end, the Rams fell to KSU 0-3

League of Legends – Last week the ECPI Rams faced the University of North Carolina Charlotte in the final match of the regular season. Although the Rams fought valiantly on the rift, UNCC was able to take the victory 2-0. The Ram’s finished their Fall season 2 wins – 4 losses in a highly competitive bracket.

Call of Duty: League Play – Week 4 we saw the Rams face off against Northern Arizona University. You could tell the Rams had something to prove going into this match, as they barely let NAU get on the board. They continued to dominate the entire match and defeated NAU 3-0.
