Maintenance and Repair Technician
We are a growing Commercial Services Company specializing in appliance and kitchen exhaust system maintenance and repair. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. This is a very physical job and the income potential is based on your willingness to work.
The prime candidate will be trained to take on supervisory responsibilities and lead crews on the jobsite. Our company will offer training and certification to potential supervisory candidates in order to transition into a leadership role with our company as our business grows.
Job requirements:
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
Background check and drug screening required
High School Diploma or GED
Able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds
Able to climb ladders
Able to receive and follow instruction
Must be responsible, punctual and reliable
Able to us or learn to use a variety of manual and power tools
Must be willing to travel and overnight for job
Scheduling flexibility required, nights and weekends
Job Summary:
Kitchen exhaust fan cleaning, maintenance, and repair
Kitchen exhaust duct cleaning, maintenance, and repair
Kitchen appliance cleaning, maintenance, and repair
General equipment maintenance and repair
Site preparation for servicing such as protecting equipment and foodservice areas during cleanings
Clean up after service
Assist other hood techs/team members
Perform other duties as assigned or requested to complete the service
Complete and submit necessary service paperwork
Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices
