Upcoming IT Event: RISE Meeting

The ECPI Computer Information Systems department invites you to a Roanoke InfoSecExchange (RISE) meeting on 12 December 2019 at 5:30pm at  ECPI University.  Topic: Wireless Intrusion Detection.  David Boulos of Sengex will be showcasing Inpixon’s Indoor Positioning Analytics (IPA) solution, a wireless intrusion detection system that monitors and detects all wireless devices and their movements including phones, smart watches, computers, printers, Internet of Things devices, beacons, and more and determines threats and responses according to the situation through a network of RF sensors that detect and locate cellular and Wi-Fi endpoints. The sensors send detection information to a central console that displays type and location of the mobile devices on a browser-based floor plan view. The system can also send alerts in real time via email, text, and audible notification. Hope to see you there!
